- Drivers should not be suffering from any condition that would affect their ability to safely use a buggy (Buggy is an invalid carriage, class2, modified).
- Drivers should not suffer from any visual impairment which would make their use of a buggy unsafe in a public area.
- ForestMobility buggies must be driven with due care and attention, and manoeuvred at appropriate speeds.
- Consideration must be given to other cycleway users.
- No passenger of any age may be carried on any buggy loaned by ForestMobility.
- Bags or any other articles must not be placed on the handle bars of the buggy.
- The buggy is hired out for the sole use of a named person and is not to be used by any other person.
- ForestMobility buggies must remain on the designated ForestMobility routes.
- The return journey must commence by the time 4 bars light up Red (40% of BATTERY USED) on the battery indicator.
- If the buggy is involved in an incident and/or accident, whether or not there is damage or injury, it must be reported to ForestMobility staff as soon as possible.
- The client will be liable for any damage or loss that occurs as a result of their negligence or misconduct, and for any resulting repair costs.
- If following a period of instruction/training an individual is considered unsafe to use a buggy in a public place they will not be permitted to do so.
- Loan is dependant upon availability of buggies and staff.
- In the case of adverse conditions ForestMobility reserve the right to restrict the provision of their services.
